Altho it’s sorta funny they didn’t manage to get this movie out on the centennial of its titular date, it is a pretty effective war story with a very technically interesting “one shot” technique that adds a bit of glamor to the whole situation.
dulevoz is a mesmerizing collection of lengthy high-def videos from trains traveling through Serbia and Montenegro, made with obvious care and love for the trains and the view.
Both the sci-fi elements and the scientist characters are really fun and involving in this carl sagan book adaptation - but on the other hand the love interest is really annoying and the movie should’ve been 30 minutes shorter.
This Vietnam war travelogue is so packed with anecdotes, stories, quotes, thoughts, and prose poems it’ll make your head spin, really just insightful, deep, and strong.
